I had a wonderful opportunity to work with The Wedding Girls and Laura Lorraine Designs when they asked me to design a cake for their Palm Springs wedding photo shoot! The directions were simple: geometric cake with a minimalistic design. MUSIC TO MY EARS! Since I knew we were going to be working in the desert, I threw in some sugar sculpted succulents onto the cake. Valentine's day can be a little cliché - a box of chocolates being one of the biggest. I don't know about you, but I've always appreciated romance a lot more when effort was put behind a gesture. This Valentine's day treat your loved one with a sweet surprise that will not only please both your palates, bellies and chocolate loving souls, it will make it more personal and memorable (besides, we all know the fastest way to win a person's heart is through their stomachs).

The agra hadig celebrates the appearance of the baby's first tooth. The mother props the infant up on a table or on the floor and places five objects in front of the child; the first object the baby selects

2 tbsp Corn Starch
1/2 stick organic butter
Pour milk and heavy cream into a sauce pan and

So there I was, craving something sweet, when I decided I wanted pudding. I opened my fridge and I saw that I had all the essential ingredients: milk, eggs, and butter. I didn't feel like using corn starch (I was having a lazy night), so I decided to use flour instead as my emulsifier. Why? Only because I was feeling too lazy
As you know by now, I take pride in telling my customers that my cakes are completely customized to their wants and desires (as long as I approve of their flavor combinations. I once made the mistake of agreeing to raspberry jam with vanilla cake and almond frosting. I seriously gagged when I sampled the combination and called the customer and said I'm switching their flavor to something more palatable.Yes, I do that. Trust me, it's for the best). Well, this bride-to-be really took my customizing
